For many women, pregnancy is one of the most wonderful experiences of their lives. But with the joy comes the mild frustration of trying to find clothes that fit and look good with the baby bump growing by the week. Here are some tips that can make it easier to find a look that fits you and you growing tummy.
The farther along you get in pregnancy the most unconformable you can become. It can be hard to find clothes that fit and not be constricting and tight. Many women want to still look good and be fashionable when they head out for the day, so go for comfort and then try to be as stylish as you can be. If you feel better in a tank top or sleeveless top then go for it! If you are more comfortable in layers then dress for your comfort and enjoy your day.
Mind the weather-
Remember that weather changes all the time, especially in some parts of the country. Also remember that you may be going in and out of buildings so you could be exposed to hot and cold temperatures as well as rain or snow throughout the day. These changes in weather and temperature can wreck havoc on the already hormonal baby bump body that pregnancy creates so make sure you plan your wardrobe to be easy to adjust to your daily activities and the changes in the weather.
Sometimes the simplest outfits are the most comfortable but if you want to dress things up a little and make your coy outfits and little more stylish then do not forget the accessories. A nice necklace can really dress up a top and a pair of earrings or some bangle bracelets can be just the right amount of bling that you need. Look for accessories that can dress up casual and comfortable outfits and make them perfect for a nice evening out on the town. Rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, hair accessories, and even the shoes and purses you choose can transform your outfit quickly and easily.
Tshirts and blouses –
While they may not seem to be the most stylish things, you can wear a simple yet nice looking shirt or blouse and still look good. They can be loser and less constricting and they go well with just about any outfit or look. Blouses are easy to wear, can help accommodate the baby bump and be comfortable enough to wear all day long. Best of all, you can usually find ones that can accommodate the baby belly and still look good later when you are back to your normal size.
Skirts and dresses –
Many women say the hardest piece of clothing to find when they are pregnant is pants. Jeans and slacks can be very tight fitting and hard to wear as the baby bump grows. Skirts and dresses offer a great option that looks great and fits much easier. They are cooler and more comfortable and also much easier to find for casual or formal events. Colors and styles are endless so you are sure to find something that fits and looks great!
Enjoy your body –
The final tip for looking great during pregnancy is to enjoy your body. It is a time of change and you are awaiting the arrival of a great blessing in your life, so make sure you take the time to enjoy every day. Every pregnancy is different and you will not experience the same things again. Show off your body and proudly tell the world that you are pregnant and that you are loving the body that you are in!
